About Bulbrook Web Designs

We Build Websites
With Purpose

My name is Jax, and I'm the owner and lead developer of Bulbrook Web Designs. I started programming because I loved building things that solved real problems. Eventually I realized I could combine that passion with helping small businesses establish a professional online presence.

After working with local businesses, I noticed a common pattern. Many couldn't justify spending thousands of dollars upfront on a website, while others had paid a premium for sites that looked outdated or generated few leads. That's why I built a pricing model that makes professional websites affordable without sacrificing quality.

Every website I build is designed with speed, SEO, accessibility, and conversions in mind. My goal isn't just to make something that looks nice—it's to create a website that helps your business grow for years to come.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Browse our FAQ page for answers about pricing, timelines, hosting, SEO, and everything else you might want to know.

How long does the subscription last?

The subscription plan lasts for a minimum of 12 months and then continues month-to-month. After the first year you may cancel at any time.

What happens if I cancel after 12 months?

Your website will be taken offline, but you can always restart service later.

What happens if I cancel before 12 months?

If you cancel before the 12 months, you owe the full cost of what the site would normally cost as a lump sum minus whatever you already paid. We prioritize long term relationships with our clients, and we want clients to share the same philosophy.

How do you handle late payments?

We send several reminders leading up to and following the date of payment, before eventually moving on to more extreme methods. We are generally very flexible and can offer assistance if need be, but if there is no communication we may be forced to shut down services temporarily.

What payment methods do you accept?

We send email invoices via Square that has a link to a secure page for adding payment info. Subscriptions are paid with a credit card or debit card and we accept all major credit cards. Lump sum projects are paid with ACH bank transfer to minimize processing fees. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHECKS OR MONEY ORDERS.

$100 per additional page—is that one time?

Yes. Additional pages are a one-time development fee.

Are there refunds?

When you sign a contract, either lump sum or subscription, if we cannot design something you are 100% happy with and no longer want to move forward, then we will refund whatever you paid to get started. If we do end up moving forward with building the site, there are no refunds after that point. From then on, refunds are at our discretion.
